Um, Tooth Fairy? Do your job!

I saw this on one of my favorite giggle sites Passive Aggressive Notes - when I saw this I laughed out loud! What's sad is that I almost forgot to do the tooth fairy duty they other night. So, so glad I didn't.

Here is the full story. I hope I never forget and incur the wrath of a passive aggressive first grader!

that tooth fairly is serious business! We made a doorknob hanger with a little cup on it to place Aiden's teeth in. That way I, er, the tooth fairy didn't have to actually enter his room and possibly wake him. I don't want to brag (yes I do) but I think that was a stroke of sheer genius on my, er, the tooth fairy's part.

The toothfairy failed three days in a row at my house. She sucks! She also had to make up for it big time.

Kate, you...errrr, I mean the tooth fairy is a genius!

It amused me that our daughters still expected the cash, even once they figured out the tooth fairy was a scam. Then they took the teeth to their father's house and got paid out twice.

Entrepreneurial, I must say...

Kate - you rock! If my mom hadn't already bought a tooth fairy box for her I would totally copy your idea! We keep the box on the window sill for tooth fairy convenience.

Elliot - can you blame them? I'd do it too! :)

I just remember waking up one morning to the face of #2 son about two inches from mine - big toothless grin on his face, and his two front teeth in his hand.

What do you want, Alex?

Money, Dad.

OMG Lou! How funny!

My older sister yanked hers out way before they were ready - not because of the money but because her friends had all lost their teeth and she wanted to fit in.

That is hilarious! Both the letter and the story about Ang had me laughing. J is begging to lose a tooth. When I told her Muffin did she got upset, but I explained that she is six. Now J thinks it will happen when she is six. I sure hope it does or I will have to implement Ang's strategy. (just kidding)

Oh, Kate, that is brilliant! You should market that idea. What's the going rate for teeth these days, anyway? I think I got a dollar per when I was a kid. Except for the time I had major oral surgery...20 bucks, suckers!

Breedale - yes, my older sissy was snaggle-toothed for a while thanks to that. Of course, we never let her forget it!

Samsmama - What on earth? You have major surgery and all of a sudden that entitles you to more money? Can I be adopted please? :)

I may have to go away until you stop talking about pulling teeth *shudders*!
