Guess Where I'm Going?

No, not to Hell in a Handbasket (although I'm pretty sure there is a reservation for me).

I'm going back to DC next week for some additional training. Yay. Sort of. I mean, I like staying at the Ritz, but it means finding accommodations for Muffin and missing her terribly. My Mom volunteered to keep her for the week and I'm very grateful. She's made tons of plans and is quite excited about the prospect. They've never kept Muffin for any length of time and she is really looking forward to it.

Now I need to get on the ball and make plans for my trip to Rome in May. Times running out!

Oooh, that's very exciting but I know what you mean about leaving your child. I don't mind the odd over-nighter but anything more than this means missing your girl (or girl and boy in my case) terribly.

I bet your mum and Muffin will have a great time but that's no consolation for you!

I'm jealous of both trips! And Muffin will have a divine time being spoiled by her grandmother.

We're leaving for a week in September...not quite sure where that kid is going to land yet. Totally know what you mean.

Um...ROME??? Do I need to cruise through the archives? This is news to me, and I am JEALOUS!!!

That is so exciting....I need a trip! And Rome? That's the perfect reason to not have another baby...thank you! *sigh* I've been tossing the idea of having another one around.

But I am wanting to be drunk and go on vacation WAY too much for that. LOL

oh I'm so jealous- of Rome, not of leaving Muffin. I know what you mean though, by the time you've secured all the details for your child it takes a lot of the fun out of 'me' time.
I went to Spain last year for 2 weeks to visit my oldest and left the little ones (they were 17, 17 and 16) home with their stepdad. It was awesome and yet harder than hell at the same time...
i'll be thinkin' of ya'!
